Playlist 16.01.05

Tonight, tonight… In all honesty, there’s not a lot to say, hey. There are a few new tidbits to thrill and chill, and a few select older things I’ve pulled out, and a bunch of stuff in the middle. How descriptive! And a few longer tracks make the playlist seem short…
A couple of not-yet-released things too, including possibly a new track from Amon Tobin‘s soundtrack to Tom Clancy’s (yeah Tom Clancy, go figure) Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory. Very cool soundtrack out on March on Ninja Tune, hurrah!
And I discovered one of those things that crops up now and then: an artist who, due to this’n’that, has never appeared on Utility Fog despite being highly deserving. In this case: Nobukazu Takemura. His output of late has been less than inspiring, but there’s so much awesome older stuff that I needed to shove a few tracks in your face tonight… Remixes tonight, maybe an album track or something next time.
Starting tonight with a few tracks inspired by having seen the very sweet movie Garden State yesterday. First track from original vinyl, with my Mum’s name on and all :)
